Twilight Book Club to discuss "The Mercy of Thin Air" June 3rd

On Tuesday, June 3rd at 6:30 PM, the Twilight Book Club will meet to discuss Ronlyn Domingue's The Mercy of Thin Air.

Two compelling stories intertwine as the ghost of a young woman, an outspoken flapper co-ed who met a tragic end, haunts a young couple in their new home. Set in 1920s New Orleans and the life beyond, its beautiful and weightless language lifts the reader to a higher plane, while driving the plot through three impressioned eras of American life.

According to critics, this book is "... a transcendent achievement ... take(ing) the reader into new and beautiful dimensions, vibrant with mischief yet raw with longing."

For some readers, this novel will relate the quantumphysics answer that all possible actions/lives exist at once. For others, it is the Buddhist concept that the past, present, and future are all found in the present moment. Still others will find it to be, as Domingue states, '… about how fragile we are as physical and spiritual beings.'"
