Ladies' Night Out "Pitch Perfect", Wednesday, January 30

Pitch Perfect
Rated PG-13
Wednesday, January 30
Snacks at 5:15 pm
Movie at 5:30 pm

Beca (Anna Kendrick) is that girl who'd rather listen to what's coming out of her headphones than what's coming out of you. Arriving at her new college, she finds herself not right for any clique but somehow is muscled into one that she never would have picked on her own: alongside mean girls, sweet girls and weird girls whose only thing in common is how good they sound when they sing together, in the new out-loud comedy Pitch Perfect. When Beca takes this acoustic singing group out of their world of traditional arrangements and perfect harmonies into all-new mash-ups, they fight to climb their way to the top of the cutthroat world of college a cappella. This could wind up either the coolest thing they'll ever do or the most insane, and it will probably be a little of both. -- (C) Universal

FREE Admission. Some snacks and drinks are provided courtesy of the Friends of the Lane Memorial Library. Additional donations of food and drinks are welcome.

Saturday Movie Minders Needed!

The library staff is actively looking for volunteers to become movie minders for our very popular Saturday afternoon feature films.  A volunteer would need to come in a half an hour early to make popcorn (easy -- we have a machine!), set out water, and then put the movie in and start it.  If you regularly attend our films, please consider volunteering for this very important job.  Without a movie minder we will not be able to continue to offer Saturday movies.

Please stop by at the Children's Desk if you would like to help out, or call Wendy Rega at the library with your name and contact information at (603) 926-3368.  Our current movie list is always available on our website
