Art Show for the Young & Hip Now Closed

Huge thanks to all of the young, hip Hampton artists who participated in Lane Library's "Art Show for the Young & Hip." Visitors and employees alike really enjoyed having the artwork on the walls. The show brought a great deal of interest and admiration from the many people who stopped by to see it and vote for their favorite pieces: 172 total votes cast!

Alas, as with all good things, the show has come to an end. Yesterday was closing day, which means it was also the day to tally all the votes and draw for the raffle prizes. I'm pleased to announce that every single piece received votes and high praise from viewers. The two $50 gift certificates for Brush & Palette went to David S. for "Windows Lighting Up a Couch and Three Tables" and Sierra P. for "Fish" for earning the most votes. The luck of the draw (a.k.a. the two $25 raffle gift certificates generously donated by Brush & Palette) went to Brianna B. and Adam S. Gift certificates are good for any supplies or classes at Brush & Palette in North Hampton, and they have no expiration date. Enjoy! Nice work by all!

Though the meeting room walls are bare again, they won't be for too long. Coming soon(ish): The Hampton Academy Art Show.
