Kids’ Movie Time at the Lane Library!

Please join us on the following Friday mornings for free films and a chance to experience our new state-of-the-art Weston Theater in the Lane Room!

We’re showing these pre-school-friendly titles:

Friday, 10/9-Olivia

What happens when jealous Olivia tries to ship little brother Ian to Siberia? And how DOES Olivia make the most of her role as Cow #2 in the school play? Join the little pig whose big imagination ALWAYS make life more interesting. Based on Ian Falconer’s award-winning Olivia books.

Friday, 10/23-Max and Ruby’s Halloween

Max wants to wear a vampire costume, but big sister Ruby wants him to be a prince. With such a difference of opinion, is it time for treats—or tricks? Get in the Halloween spirit with this episode based on the popular Max and Ruby books of Rosemary Wells.

Friday, 11/6-Shaun the Sheep:Sheep on the Loose

What happens when sheep camp? Or vacuum? Or disco? You won’t want to miss the adventures of Shaun and his baaaaaaaadly behaved flock of friends. Hilarious fun from the makers of Wallace and Gromit and the movie Chicken Run.

Friday, 11/20-Super Friends

What’s better than good friends? SUPER friends! Batman and Robin, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, and Superman are featured in these episodes from the 1970’s. And don’t forget teenage shapeshifters Zan and Jayna and their space monkey Gleek. “Wonder Twin Powers—Activate!”

Movies begin at 10 a.m. The approximate running time is forty-five minutes to an hour for each event and we will provide drinks and peanut-free snacks.

Please note that all children of first grade age and younger must be accompanied by an adult throughout their visit at the library.

We look forward to seeing you!
