Gaming Afternoon is also a year-round event, occurring on the last Friday of every month from 3-4:30.
Play Beatles Rock Band, Rock Band, Lego Batman, Madden 09... in the air-conditioned Lane Room on the big screen with surround sound! Feel free to bring your own X Box 360 compatible multi-player game rated T or under, if you'd rather play something else, along with controllers. Lane Library owns all of the Rock Band instrument controllers, but only two regular controllers.
Teens (incoming 7th graders and up) may earn a raffle ticket for every teen program that they attend. They may also earn a ticket for every hour that they read, log, and submit to Kirsten. An additional ticket may be earned if teens choose to write a review of a book that they read for the program, which will be posted in the Teen Section. The raffle will be drawn at the Finale on Tuesday, August 23. The last raffle entries will be accepted on Friday, August 19. Please see Kirsten @ the Reference Desk for a Reading Log and/or Teen Review Form and to sign up for programs.
