Columbus Day Activities at the Library!

The library will be open Monday, October 10 from 9 am until 5 pm. Please join us for the following Columbus Day activities:

10 am: Lindsay and Her Puppet Pals
Lindsay and Her Puppet Pals... brings a large collection of beautifully handcrafted and life sized stuffed hand puppets and marionettes to young audiences across New England. Characters come alive with a wacky array of unique voices! Charming original stories and folk tales are delightfully chock full of audience participation and humor! Lindsay is continuing the "Martha Dana" tradition - always a favorite with our audiences.

3:30 pm: Bats of New Hampshire - A "Speaking for Wildlife" Presentation
Wondering what's up with bats in New Hampshire? Come learn about the different bats found in our state, where to look for them, and how landowners and homeowners can help conserve these fascinating mammals.


Also, the Children's Room will have a craft table available all day where your kids can make "Egg Cup Ships".
