"Birdwatching in New Hampshire" - Tuesday, July 16, 6:30 PM

Please join us on Tuesday, July 16th at 6:30 PM to hear author Eric Masterson give us a guided tour of his new book Birdwatching in New Hampshire.  Known throughout New Hampshire as a "Master Birder",  Eric will share the wisdom gained from years of tracking these elusive creatures.  Designed to appeal to expert and backyard birdwatchers alike, Eric's talk will reveal where, when, and how to watch and enjoy birds in New Hampshire. He not only knows the latest information about the seasonal status and distribution of birds in New Hampshire but will also present an introduction to the art and practice of birdwatching, including equipment, ethics, migration, conservation, and most of all, finding that "good bird."

Eric Masterson has worked for twelve years in the field of environmental conservation, including eight years at New Hampshire Audubon.  He currently serves on the New Hampshire Rare Bird Committee and is a seasonal editor for the quarterly journal New Hampshire Bird Records .

The lecture is free and open to all ages, from interested middle-schoolers to adults.  The library is located at 2 Academy Avenue, Hampton.
