Teen Services Events: November/December

Teen Poetry Contest: Submit your original poetry, 30 lines or less, and be entered into VOYA's national contest. Three local winners will receive Barnes & Noble Gift Cards. Accepting entries September 1st- November 15th. Check the link for the submission sheet.
Study Hall: Every Monday in the Study Room, 2:30-4:00 pm.
Photography Workshop: November 10th & 17th 3:00-4:00pm, Teen Area. Try light painting and work with a 1900's Kodak Brownie Camera.
Teen Writer's Workshop: November 13th & December 18th 2:30-3:30 pm, Study Room. Interested in creative writing? Join other teen writers and stretch the imagination with new techniques and diverse prompts that will inspire your creative writing process.
Artist Workshop: November 6th, 20th, & December 11th 2:30-3:30 pm, Study Room. Paints, brushes, pencils and paper will be available. Explore new materials and techniques, develop creative skills and celebrate self-expression.
Make'r Take'r: December 8th, 2:30-3:30 pm make Candy Sleighs in the Teen Area. On December 22nd, 2:30-3:30 pm Teens can make Crispy Winter Critters.

Gift Wrapping Fundraiser
Mon Dec 14th 5-7:30 pm; Tues Dec 15th 5-7:30 pm; Wed Dec 16th 5-7:30 pm
Lane Memorial Library will be hosting its second gift wrapping fundraiser. Local teens will be wrapping gifts for two great charities. Get your gifts wrapped for a small donate to help the Friends of the Library & End 68 Hours of Hunger. A hot cocoa and treats bar is offered for those getting their gifts wrapped. Teens from Winnacunnet High School's Interact Club and the Academy donated their time and local residents the wrapping paper. We hope to see you this year!
