Free movie showings for children


The Lane Library Children’s Room is offering two free movies for children:

A children’s MYSTERY MATINEE is coming to Lane Memorial Library on Monday, December 29th. This movie, recently released on DVD, features a brave elephant, a dandelion that is more than it appears, and animals drawn as only Dr. Seuss can.

The film begins at 1:30 p.m. and runs 86 minutes. It is rated G. Children in first grade and under must be accompanied at all times by an adult, and children in fourth grade and under must have an adult remain in the Lane Library while they are in the building.

Admission (including a light snack) is free. Please stop by to sign up, or call the Children’s Room at 926-4729.

Do you love adventure, fantasy, and swashbuckling princes? Then you will not want to miss Lane Library’s children MYSTERY MATINEE on Tuesday, December 30th, featuring a recently released DVD based on C.S. Lewis’ beloved Narnia books.
