Columbus Day Events

The Library will be hosting events all day on Columbus Day (Monday, October 11) to entertain all of those kids who are out of school (and even some of the parents who are taking the day off!). Please come on by!

Moving the Story Off the Pages
This is an exciting program that ties fitness and literacy together. The children are read a story about dance and/or fitness and then they get up and "move the story off the page" and onto the floor including singing, dancing and improvising to music using props and musical instruments.
10-11 a.m.: 3-5 yr. olds
11 a.m.-12 p.m.: 6-8 yr. olds
