Computer Tutorials at the Lane Library

Are you puzzled by computers and the Internet? Want to learn how to keep in touch with friends and family by email? Feeling a bit overwhelmed by new technology?

The Lane Memorial Library now offers free individualized tutorials geared toward seniors but open to any Hampton resident who wants to become more familiar with computer basics. Using a new Windows 7 laptop generously donated by the Friends of the Lane Library, participants will receive an introduction to basic computer terminology, learn the parts and uses of a modern computer, practice sending and receiving email, and come up to speed on the do's and don'ts of surfing the Internet.

Taught in simple and concise terms by a retired engineer with 35 years of experience, these classes are personally tailored to each learner. For more information and to arrange a tutorial session at the Lane Memorial Library, contact Darrell Eifert, Head of Circulation at (603) 926-3368, or by email at deifert (at)
