The Lane Memorial Library now offers free individualized tutorials geared toward seniors but open to any Hampton resident who wants to become more familiar with computer basics. Using a new Windows 7 laptop generously donated by the Friends of the Lane Library, participants will receive an introduction to basic computer terminology, learn the parts and uses of a modern computer, practice sending and receiving email, and come up to speed on the do's and don'ts of surfing the Internet.
Taught in simple and concise terms by a retired engineer with 35 years of experience, these classes are personally tailored to each learner. For more information and to arrange a tutorial session at the Lane Memorial Library, contact Darrell Eifert, Head of Circulation at (603) 926-3368, or by email at deifert (at) hampton.lib.nh.us.
