Travel to China : Lecture and Slideshow March 5th

Join us on Monday, March 5th at 6:00 PM to hear expert photographer and travel guide Richard Ferland present a fascinating look at the culture and people of China. Richard will cover the basics of planning a trip to China, what to bring, what to leave home, and how to mix and mingle. He will discuss what to expect when you arrive, how to shop and eat, ways of staying in touch with those back home, and talk about "the 3 deadly sins of communicating with Chinese locals". The evening will end with a 25 minute slide show and time for questions.

Richard is a lifelong photographer and graduate of Boston University's Center for Digital Imaging Arts. He has extensive experience in China, having lived and worked there for a number of years.
