New "Twilight Book Club" at the Library

Beginning in March the library will be hosting a new evening book club. The group, which is sponsored by the Friends of the Library, is calling itself the "Twilight Book Club" and will meet monthly on the first Tuesday of each month from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

At their first meeting on March 4th they will discuss Ian McEwan's Atonement. Considered his finest work by many critics, McEwan traverses love and war in a tale also of guilt and blame -- with a twist! Publishers Weekly says "This haunting novel...is at once McEwan at his most closely observed and psychologically penetrating, and his most sweeping and expansive. It is in effect two, or even three, books in one, all masterfully crafted."
