The Friends of the Lane Library are kicking off the summer season with a raffle to win tickets to see the Red Sox play the New York Yankees on Sunday, July 27, at 1:35 p.m. at Fenway Park. Individual raffle tickets are just $2 dollars.

"Whether a member of Red Sox Nation or a die-hard Yankees fan, you can have a chance to see this exciting match-up while supporting the Friends and the Lane Library," comments Diane Keyes who is organizing the raffle sales. Adds Keyes, "This is the fourth year in a row we've had this exciting raffle, and we are hoping baseball fans of all ages participate. We are especially appreciative to our generous donor who is making this raffle possible."

In addition to the Lane Library, raffle tickets will be on sale Saturdays in June at area supermarkets: Saturday, June 14 at Market Basket in Stratham; Saturday, June 21, at Shaw's in North Hampton; and Saturday, June 28, at Shaw's in Stratham. The winning ticket will be drawn on July 12 during the Friends Annual Summer Book
Sale.

All proceeds raised from the Red Sox vs. Yankees Raffle benefit the Friends, a multi-age volunteer organization whose mission is to preserve and strengthen the library as a community resource. The Friends of the Lane Library sponsors a variety of speakers, exhibits, and community events for the benefit of the Lane Memorial Library.
