Alex the Jester Performs in Hampton!

The Friends of the Lane Memorial Library celebrate their 50th anniversary this year with a gift to the townspeople of Hampton. On Monday evening, August 11th at 7:00 PM, Alex the Jester will perform at the Winnacunnet High School auditorium, 2 Alumni Ave., Hampton, NH. Admission is FREE, and the Friends hope that many will take advantage of this wonderful opportunity for an entertaining night out with the family.

What will Alex do? Change costumes in a split second? Look at you through a darting eyeball in his mouth? Play three flutes simultaneously in staggered rhythms? Mimic a squirting European fountain? Freeze like a gargoyle? You never know what might happen next ....

Alex the Jester keeps his audiences laughing at a non-stop stream of surprises. Connecting all these escapades is a wild-sounding gibberish language called Grammelot. The humor is universal and has been his ticket to international comedy festivals in Quebec and France, and frequent tours of Australia, Europe, New Zealand, Singapore and Japan.

"Makes everyone feel good!" -- Vancouver Week-End Edition

"Everyone who saw your show loved it!" -- World Expo - Australia

"Alexander's appeal knows no borders" -- Singapore Arts Festival

"Hilarious, imaginative ... a gem of an artist!" -- Capitol Center for the Arts, Concord NH
