Teen Gaming Afternoon

This is the last Friday of the month, which means it's time for some gaming!

Teen Gaming: 3-4:30 pm If you are 10 years old or older, come join us to play with the library's new XBOX360 Kinect, and other new games! We'll have drinks and snacks and can try out the library's new Kinect, or stick with old favorites, like Rock Band. Games that will be available include: Kinect Sports (Seasons 1 & 2), Forza 4, Madden 12, and Dance Central 2.

*Occurs on the last Friday of every month!

**Unfortunately, we had to cancel this show last week due to a technical problem with our movie screen. The screen has been repaired and we want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to catch this fantastic movie!

From Alexander Payne, the creator of the Oscar-winning Sideways, set in Hawaii, The Descendants is a sometimes humorous, sometimes tragic journey for Matt King (George Clooney) an indifferent husband and father of two girls, who is forced to re-examine his past and embrace his future when his wife suffers a boating accident off of Waikiki. The event leads to a rapprochement with his young daughters while Matt wrestles with a decision to sell the family's land handed down from Hawaiian royalty and missionaries. -- (C) Fox Searchlight

When you're four years old and still making discoveries about the world around you, adventures can be anywhere! Caillou nurses an injured bird, explores a forest for treasures, helps his sister overcome being frightened at the car wash, and imagines what it would be like to have a desert in his own home. This collection of animated stories and puppet, musical, and live-action segments from the PBS preschool series is typically sunny (with a few clouds when things don't go Caillou's way) and insightful in its kid's-eye perspective. Ladies' Night Reschedule! Tuesday, 3/6 @ 5:30 pm

We were so sad to have to postpone our most recent Ladies' Night movie due to the bad weather. We had so many requests that we've decided to reschedule for this coming Tuesday night, March 6. Snacks will be out around 5:15 pm and the movie will start at 5:30 pm. Spread the word!
