National Gaming Day is coming up!
This year, we're doing things a bit differently. We'll be having two sessions: one in the morning for kids (see separate
blog entry) and one in the afternoon for anyone 10+.
Please join us. The Library is a great place to meet and play games!
For the afternoon session, we'll have all of the board and card games we had last year, plus a few new ones! We'll also have our X Box 360 up and running for games like Rock Band (Beatles and regular), Madden, Forza, etc.
This year's official sponsor,
FamilyandPartyGames.com, has donated a few new games to Lane Library:
Loaded Questions,
Awkward Family Photos, and
Loaded Questions, Junior. Play these or our other games:
Pictureka! Card Game, Monopoly Deal, Scrabble Slam, LetterJam!,
Say Anything,
Wits & Wagers,
Pictureka,
Magic: The Gathering®,
Dungeons & Dragons®… in the Lane Room from 1 - 4:30 p.m. on November 12. Or bring in your favorite board game to play in the library!
If you’ve got a favorite multi-player game that's compatible, I'm sure others would love to play with you! Change things up by playing with people with whom you don't normally play!
Who: Anyone interested in playing games with others!
